I received this yesterday, to replace a different seat riser I have had for 12 years. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this one is more sturdy and a tad bit taller than the one I had. Being hinged makes it so much easier to clean. The one I had before you had to remove to clean.

I don't know how I ever did without my riser seat. Now I should have handrails to fit on it. I am using a walker to hold onto when I get up off

I find it absurd that Carex does not offer replacement parts for their toilet seat risers(bolts and wing nuts)Knowing what moisture will do metal over time. Great disappointment!!!
