Carson Dellosa Education Deluxe Calendar Pocket Chart

This calendar is SO cute and was so easy to set up!! Screams early 2000s nostalgia and helps in my sons every day homeschool lessons!

Just what I was looking for - the velcro on the bottom pocket arrived halfway unattached, but I'm hoping it will be an easy-enough fix.

I'm looking forward to beginning morning meetings again. This will be awesome for the setup I plan to do.

I absolutely LOVE this pocket chart. It has so much that I am able to incorporate it into my calendar time. It includes different patterned symbols for each month and all of the holidays. The bright colors make it engaging and the clip art matches the month/holiday. The cards are a durable cardboard - I laminate them to get even longer out of them but is not necessary if they are not being handled daily by students.

Amazing quality can be used for multiple years. Light enough I can hang it with push pins or utilize command strips. I love all the seasonal pictures and Birthday reminders.

I’m going to cut this apart with 2 rows together to create a linear calendar pocket chart for my PreK. I also ordered CD calendar kit that includes the monthly pattern pieces for all the months.

I have had one of these calendars for years and the quality is great! I am expanding my child care center and needed a few more.

Loving it, I did not used it saving for the beginning of the school year but when I was unboxing it, yes love it. I laminate the numbers so it will not easily wear out and I can used it next time.

I am going to start doing calendar next year in second grade, and I think this will have just about everything I will need.

Could not wait to get this calendar set and pocket chart. Pieces are durable and feel like they are laminated. Easily popped apart. Cannot wait to use it in my classroomZ

I have a 70-year-old "best woman friend" that lives in a retirement community and was becoming forgetful about certain activities of the church I regularly attend each week. So I bought two of these calendars for her (one for the current month and one for the following month) and then used my desktop computer and printer to create new and more appropriate activity cards for it. Should work out great! (The photo I'm including here shows one of the new "month" cards I created for this calendar that was less "juvenile" in appearance than the ones that came with this calendar, and new "day of the week" cards that don't have the "abbreviated" days of the week on them -- and I also replaced the "Saturday" card in that set with my own "Sabbath" card, since the church I regularly attend each week observes the "seventh-day" Sabbath and therefore holds its weekly worship services on Saturdays, rather than Sundays.)

I absolutely love this calendar! I helped my sister put a cheap, dollar store one in her classroom over the summer because she couldn't find one that she liked. This one however has it all! Her other one has already fallen apart (#kindergarten) and this is the replacement. The months are clear and colorful and the numbers are big! There is even the days of the week with abbreviations! I now teach 3rd grade and still use calendar time in order to teach a different set of skills. We now track the weather, moon phases, etc. My students are able to flip over the date cards and write the temperature to track it one month. Another month, we turned them over and drew the moon phases. I have laminated the cards and students use dry erase markers. They love using the calendar for this each day! A calendar is a MUST have in every classroom, but this deluxe calendar is great for a nice spaced out calendar with big numbers and room to hold the holidays. This is a really nice pocket chart calendar. It is well made and the best part is that it has POCKETS!!! We love pockets. Pockets make for easy storage of the calendar pieces. The pieces are colorful and inviting. This is great to use in the classroom just as a calendar or in a center for students to practice calendar skills. I do wish they came with a few blank cards to use for days specific to your school or district, i.e. field day or Mardi Gras.
