Q: Can I use Platinum on fine china?

A: Thank you for your question, Nancy, as we only want you to be 100% satisfied with the results you receive after using Cascade Platinum ActionPacs. The easiest answer to your question is to make sure your china is dishwasher-safe. This is decided by the manufacturer of the dishes. Never wash old, worn, antique, or family heirlooms in the dishwasher. When in doubt, wash by hand. As a rule, hand-painted and antique china should never be cleaned by machine. Also know that platinum or gold trim on china will fade regardless of detergent used, and they're usually not considered dishwasher safe.

I'm extremely disappointed with this dish detergent. The smell is overpowering, and it lingers on the dishes even after washing. The detergent decolors the dishes badly, leaving them dull and faded. The strong smell raises safety concerns. Overall, I cannot recommend this product due to its strong smell, decoloring the dishes, and potential health risks.

Product works great but...Brand new box ... Half empty...I could care less if they were packaged in a smaller box. It would take up less space in my cabinet so I'd actually be happier that way...but noooooo they had to put it in the big box because they think I'll look like a better offer or something. Ugh

I have been washing aluminum kitchen tools in my dishwasher for many years. However an aluminum baking pan and garlic press have recently become anodized and useless. Based on some internet search results, I think my new Cascade Platinum is to blame.

I have tried many other dishwasher detergents and non of them match up with Cascade. When ordering invest your money and get the largest size it comes out to be less expensive than the smaller packages.Works using hard water with high iron concentration

This is all we ever use in our dishwasher. Our dishes come out clean. We get the occasional water spot, but we have hard water so that will happen. I recommend this product to others and I will continue purchasing it.
