Works great, easy to use, and sounds like a regular piano. Teaching my 12yr old son to play and he loves it. Only downside, needs adapter if you want to use headphones.

Perfect piano for first time players! Great quality and my son loves to play it. I wish it would have come in a combo with a stand/stool/microphone and ear phones! I would have purchased it. Piano is sturdy but light. Quality sound.

Perfect starter keyboard for my 6 year old. She just started taking piano lessons. This was a great option rather than a full sized piano. She loves playing with the different tones.

i just bought this because i wanted to get back into playing the piano and doing covers. the piano is great. Unfortunately I use a lot of lower keys so i can’t fully play them because it’s only 61 keys but i expected that. one thing i don’t like about the sound is that the volume difference from level 4 to 5 is drastic. When i play on level 4 it seems too quiet but when i jump to level 5 it’s super loud. it bugs me because there’s no in between but that’s the only thing that i don’t like about it. it’s a good deal for 100 bucks.

It’s probably the best in this price range. I really like it and it’s great for beginners. I like that it shows the note on the screen because it helps me learn to read bass clef (I already knew treble from playing trumpet)

This is an excellent quality keyboard! The 61 keys are the same size as piano keys and the sound quality is really good not exactly like a piano but not far off. The dance mix has a lot of great options and the overall look of the keyboard is high quality and classic. My husband loves this keyboard and we highly recommend! It does come with access to the Cordana app and includes a AC Power adapter.

I bought this keyboard for my 85 year old mother who was missing her piano after moving into an Assisted Living Center. The keys are large and the sound is pretty good overall. There are just way too many buttons/options for her to try to figure out. I wish there was just an electric keyboard that didn't have so any added features. I'm sure some need them, but I wonder if most customers just try to play a simple tune.

THE BEST LEARNING TECHNOLOGY EVER!!!

5 out of 5 stars
Would recommend
CDH - 4 years ago, Verified purchaser
As a professional pianist who wants EVERYTHING for my three 12-year-old granddaughters who are learning to play piano, I highly recommend Casio keyboard models that are supported by the Chordana Play App, and this CTK-2500 model is compatible with the App. The beautiful thing here is that, rather than having to depend on the very small LCD screen to learn, the App expands the learning to scrolling, easy-to-follow musical score supported by visual piano-roll technology streaming downward from the musical score to a visual keyboard to show in real-time exactly which note you will need to press (and for how long). The ads for the CTK-2500, -2550, and -3500 are deceptive, however, because they show the keyboard keys actually lighting up in coordination with the App, and the CTK series of keyboards DOES NOT light the keys as depicted. The Casio LK-190 has lighted keys but DOES NOT interact with the Chordana Play app; however, the Casio LK-265 does have lighted keys and DOES WORK with the Chordana Play app, and this is apparently the model of keyboard that Casio is using in the demos for Chordana Play, leading the buyers of the CTK models to believe that they are purchasing a keyboard that also has lighted keys. Nonetheless, BRAVO to Casio for giving us the beautiful App. Additionally, BRAVO to Casio for the software programming genius in transmitting MIDI data across a simple audio cable, making the App interactive with the keyboard models it supports in the most simple and affordable way possible! In other words, you download the Chordana Play App from: 1) Google Play for Android Phone or Tablet, 2) iTunes for iPhone or iPad, then connect your device to the compatible Casio keyboard with an audio cable to make them communicate with each other.) The LK-265 sells for about $50 more than the CTK-2500.

Good basic beginner keyboard

4 out of 5 stars
Would recommend
CaylaR - 4 years ago, Verified purchaser
Basic, lightweight, mid-size keyboard. Good value for the money. Functions well. Will be great for introducing our children to basic piano concepts. Only complaint is that the groove for holding sheet music could be deeper and/or longer. Probably works great for anyone with a normal book, but in the era of the internet where we can print out our own sheet music, it doesn't hold up music well as either individual sheets or a 3 ring binder.
