I love that one half is a typical scratcher and the other half is rug so it provides both scratching sensations. The ramp style is perfect for them to play on. It's only been 24 hours that I've had this product so far and both of my cats absolutely love it, I can tell it's not something that's going to last a really long time considering parts of the carpet already starting to come up but as far as enjoyment goes both of my girls can't get enough of this toy, price-wise it's not bad but I do wish it was a little bit cheaper. I think it would more accurately value is something of like $12 rather than $16.
