Door Hanging Cat Scratcher - 21" - Boots & Barkley™

The fell apart but I used two sided tape and stuck them to the wall and to the box that is supposed to hang them. They work great for the price.

Easily falls apart

Defective design. Scratching board does not stay inside of hanging device. I honestly have no idea why Target is selling this.

The inserted cardboard isn’t securely in and falls out; my scratched the door still despite the cat nip. I even tried to rub her paws on it. Taking it back!

Have a cats they loves to scratch placed outside the door for my out door cats

My cats love using door hanging scratchers but this is probably the worst one I've bought. The piece with the corrugated cardboard constantly falls out and falls onto them whenever my cats try and use it. At this point I've just left it flat on the floor. I won't be buying this again.

Two years ago, I purchased Boots and Barkley's Door Hanging Cat scratcher for my cat Bailey. She wasn't much interested in it, if it hung from the door. When laid flat, she used it to scratch her nails. Now, since I have a new cat Sugar, who's temporarily staying in the bathroom during the cat introduction, she had used it for scratching and laying on it flat, and not hanging from the door. It could be a better product for sure. A bit tricky to recommend it, since It all depends on your cat's preference for it.

Not long enough to hang from a door knob for cats to reach unless you have a very, very big/long cat. disappointed.

Great item! I love that you can hang it on a door or stick it to a wall or the floor. It’s also nice and thick and wide, which my cats love. Will definitely purchase again.

Idk if it’s a design flaw or if we got a defective one, but there’s nothing keeping the scratching board inside the cardboard hanger. It just falls right out. I was able to use tape on the back to keep it together for a little while, but it only held for so long.

The cardboard immediately fell out when my cat tried to use it. I had to tape it together, and then it didn't even stick to the wall for more than a day. Total waste of money

Scratcher comes out of the holder the second the cat gets a nail in it. Pulled out and fell straight on him, so now he won't use it at all. Basically got yet another floor scratcher.

It sticks to the door fine but the actual scratcher comes out of holder really easily. Not worth buying unless you plan on having it on the floor

My cat didn’t like /:, she prefers the scratching poles. She would not even give this the time or day!

The scratcher part fell out of the outside container with the handle right away and ended up having to tape it together. Still only lasted a week because the handle ended up falling off because it can't take any sort of weight. The old design from a few years back was 10000x better and is still in use in our house.

The cardboard handle that is supposed to hang on the door isn't super study. It did rip off within the first few uses. BUT my cat did prefer to scratch at more once it was flat on the ground. Overall a decent product to keep kitty claws off furniture.

There is NOTHING keeping the cardboard insert for scratching inside the frame. It doesn't stay inside when you hang it up. I had to tape it. I immediately requested a refund

My cat has zero interest in this. It’s just a regular piece of cardboard.

This would work better on a flat door with no indentations but otherwise it doesn’t stay stuck to the door well enough

My cats love this so much, the scratcher does shed which is a little annoying but not a deal breaker
