Checkered Sofa Cat Scratcher - 17.7" - Boots & Barkley™

I’m not sure if this warning is warranted, but my one of my cats peed on this scratcher within days of my purchasing it and putting it out, and the pee soaked through and messed up one of my rugs. I don’t know if the sofa design was too similar to the shape of a litter box, but I wish I’d been less attracted to the shape of it based on my human fondness for sofas. If your cat has any trouble with the litter box I might advise you to just get a plain rectangular scratcher… which my cats are able to enjoy without peeing on them. One star based on the function of the scratcher being intended to decrease cat-related damage versus the practice of the scratcher increasing cat-related damage.

My cat LOVES this scratcher since we got it. He uses it every single day and even sleeps on it.

My cat loves this scratcher! I noticed she was only scratching the curved part of a different scratcher so when I saw this item with two curves, I knew she had to have it! It was an instant hit. She used to have a small rectangular couch scratcher that she loved and it’s like this one combines the couch aspect with the rounded edge aspect so she’s in heaven. Just ordered more!

My girl love this! This is her favorite napping place. It’s small, but I think that adds to her liking it. The sides curve up so she feels secure. Price is great.
