Samuel et son grand-père se rendent au parc par une journée de printemps. Papichou demande à Samuel quelles chaussures il doit porter. Doit-il porter des bottes d'hiver? NON! Des sandales? NON! Des pantoufles? NON! Des espadrilles? OUI! OUI! OUI! Tout au long de l'histoire, Papichou laisse Samuel choisir la direction où ils vont marcher, ce qu'ils vont faire au parc et, enfin, quelles fleurs il va rapporter à Mamichou. Samuel s'amuse à prendre les décisions lui-même et montre à son grand-père que, même s'il est petit, il sait beaucoup de choses.

About the Author

Les choses que Mireille Messier sait:

- écrire des histoires amusantes pour les enfants (elle a publié plus de trente livres);

- parler français, anglais et un tout petit peu espagnol;

- préparer une très bonne tasse de thé;

- faire du hula-hoop pendant au moins une minute (parfois plus).

Éléna Comte est une illustratrice québécoise qui aime créer des illustrations qui communiquent la joie par la couleur. Elle s'inspire des formes qui l'entourent dans son quotidien et aime simplifier pour ne conserver que l'essentiel. Son travail est influencé par l'art naïf, les collages et les peintures réalisées à la gouache.
