I love all cerave products but the cerave hydrating cleanser bar is one of my favorite one. Leave my face smooth and clean. It has good ingredients to treat acne.I always used it every morning.

I like it, but it's not the best cleanser you would ever use. It is very hydrating and doesn't leave my skin dry or irritate it as I have really gentle skin. Overall I like it and recommend it.

The one ingredient in it that isn't safe; Stearic Acid is a known SD trigger. I used this bar once in the morning, my neck broke out in itchy red blotches that took 3 hours to settle down, but it was 8 hours later that my forehead (which itched all day) broke out bumps and then got reddish pink patches and began to peel. All I could do was quickly wipe my tea tree eye cleaner over my face and a few hours later the outbreak was gone. Although this felt hydrating, the Stearic Acid is a known comedogenic and will clog your pores which will trigger a SD outbreak. If it didn't have that ingredient, it would be perfect to wash my face. I threw it in the trash.

I originally bought this to replace the liquid cleanser in the pump bottle, because I wanted to reduce the amount of plastic I was purchasing. I love it even more! It's great for both face and body, and I appreciate that it's unscented.
