This is the first cerava product I am disappointed with. I have loved every other cerave product I have tried but this cleanser isn’t great. Not very sudsy. It almost feels like you are washing your face with lotion.

I work for a dermatologist who reccommends CeraVe products to thier patient's. This cleanser is lotion-like and doesnt become sudsy. It does always rinse away clean without a residue. Its a moisturizing wash without any acne fighting ingredients and can be used on the face and body.

Does not lather, which is a huge disappointment!!! It’s such a terrible cleanser that I had to keep checking the label to make sure it wasn’t a moisturizer. I’m trying to finish the bottle but I may just throw it out!!!!

I bought another Cerave facial wash and received a small ample of this product with it. I absolutely loved it. It cleans my face without drying it out. I like to use it in the morning, because im not sure how well it would work at the end of the day. My skin is soft and moisturized. I highly recommend. This burned my skin when I used it and I feel I have broken out more since starting to use it. My skin felt more taut and stripped after use and I’ve tried this multiple times just to be sure it wasn’t a fluke. I also felt irritated that it didn’t lather at all. I know its still working but apparently the lather is important to my brain! Haha! Worth the try but not for me.

I had used this for YEARS and loved it. I used it every other day as I have dry, sensitive skin that only needs a stronger cleanser every 1-3 days. I last purchased this a couple months ago and noticed it felt spicy on my face and irritated the heck out of my facial piercings. Neither of these things had ever happened before. It did not irritate my skin beyond the time that it was on my face, luckily, aside from my piercings which took a few days to recover from the irritation. I unfortunately can no longer use this product and will be going back to Cetaphil :(

The Cereave hydrating facial cleanser for normal to dry skin cleanses hydrates in the house, restore the protection skin barrier with three essential ceramides and hydrochloric acid with moisture balance. This is also associated with the national eczema associations, and was developed with dermatologist. I only gave this three stars, due to the fact that. My face really didn’t feel all that clean after using this product I do believe it has too much moisturerization in it for My oily skin thank you I’m in the middle of recommending it and not recommending it so if you have dry skin it may be for you

This is one of my everyday cleansers. I always double cleanse and this is always the one I use after my first cleanse. It doesn’t leave the skin feeling right or stripped like a lotttt of cleansers have done for me. I recommend a lot of products from CeraVe!
