I actually have extremely oily skin! I started using this product and my sebaceous filaments have completely disappeared - no blacks pores at all anymore! My pores are almost invisible! Took about a month of use, but results are unbelievable!

After washing my face with just about everything (from a $1 bar of soap to the high end cleansers) this one actually cleans my face and takes off the makeup BUT doesnt give me that overly squeaky dry feeling after I wash it off. New favorite! The only thing I wish is different is the hyaluronic acid since I live in the desert, but if you live anywhere else thats only a plus!

So far this has been the best cleanser I have yet to use! It has little to no harsh smell, I love how smooth it makes my skin feel and it gets rid of my texture and minimizes the look of my pores! This is one cleanser I 1009999% recommend to everyone!

The texture is a thin runny liquid, which feels very light and gentle on the skin and does not strip away my skin's moisture. No scent, and the packaging I'm using is a sample size in a turning lid bottle.

Didn’t think I needed this — now I can’t go without it🌼. I used to just wash with a regular foaming cleanser and thought that was enough, but this oil cleanser made such a difference. My skin feels smoother and more nourished. Even my dry patches have improved. It’s especially great in the winter months when my skin gets extra flaky. Love it!

This is undoubtedly a gentle skin cleanser and touts hydrating ingredients including squalane and ceramides. As a derm PA, I like the shift towards fragrance-free products and this falls within that parameter. It's a relatively straight forward cleanser and find it works better than its cream cleanser counterparts. Of note, it doesn't strip the skin, but it also doesn't seem to clean quite as well as I like as it doesnt fully take off makeup or my mineral-based sunscreen so I do double cleanse with the La Roche Posay cleansing oil.

I bought this cleanser to remove my make up as I read oil cleansers are effective at removing oil products. I also chose it as it is oil to foam which is easier for me to remove. Having easily clogged and acne prone skin, I prefer products that don’t sit on top of my skin even after rinsing off. This cleanser is super gentle and really is hydrating. After using it, my skin feels soft and plump without feeling stripped or dry. I’m always a huge fan of cerave products as I feel they always do exactly what they’re intended to and are approved by my esthetician which is a huge plus. I would definitely recommend and repurchase!

I love using this. I usually use Thayer’s Aloe cleansing gel. This takes my makeup off, and doesn’t dry it out. Great for a double cleanse. No fragrance. I have normal to dry skin. I’m 39. I’m a little more dry in winter time, and so far, I’m impressed.

This is a sticky face wash and not an oil cleanser. I purchased to use as a double cleanser and it's not for me. I was hoping to find a cheaper alternative to the Kiehls Midnight Recovery Oil Face wash, but this isn't it.

I'm not here to bash this product or brand, as I have used several CeraVe products that I do like. This particular formula, however, has broken me out terribly, in the form of tiny pimples that pop up over night and all throughout the day. My face has also been a bit more enflamed. It took me a couple of weeks to realize it was this cleanser. Since I've never had issues with this brand, I didn't suspect it, even though it's the only new thing I'd used. After looking into it and the ingredients, I think it may be the squalane. If you have sensitive skin, proceed with caution.

It’s pretty good! It removed my makeup with more ease than other face washes I’ve used. I saw a few other people say it dried out their skin but so far my experience has been good and it’s left my skin cleaned and hydrated!

Given that the word “oil” is in the name, I thought this product would be more moisturizing/hydrating. It’s not. First of all, it’s very runny & messy to apply to my face. It doesn’t seem to foam up well either. After rinsing, my skin feels really tight and uncomfortable. I suppose it cleans well enough, but I can’t get past how badly it dries out my face. Not designed for my mature skin.
