Cetaphil Moisturizing Body and Face Cream - 16oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Cetaphil and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. It is my understanding that I was selected to trial this moisturiser based on my dry, sensitive skin. I received the 100g sample product in a tube format with a twist-on lid. The texture is smooth, lightweight, and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy or sticky residue. The product is fragrance free and, on application, it feels soothing and comfortable, and initially gives the impression of deep hydration. The product claims to deliver 48 hours of hydration and to help restore the skin’s moisture barrier however, this effect fades over the course of the day. By the end of a typical workday, my skin was dry, itchy, and sensitive again. While I do think it’s a pleasant product to use and may work well for people with normal or only slightly dry skin, it wasn’t effective enough for someone who requires a more effective product. I didn’t notice any major improvement in my skin’s barrier either. Overall, it’s a decent product with lovely texture and feel, but unfortunately, not moisturising enough for very dry or sensitive skin types like mine.

Doesn't sweat off, no overpowering fragrance - I'm not a fan of artificial perfumes or ever they do too your hormones. Quite seriously I could just use this one in warmer weather and a thicker version in winter and have my moisturiser needs met completely!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantaatic product for everyday use! Comes out super thick from the tube, but absorbed into skin rather quickly. Does not leave an oily residue. Main ingredients being glycerin, petroletum, enriched with sweet almond oil, niacinamide and panthenol. Excellent basic moisturiser for winter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most hydrating and moisturising cream! It’s unscented and yet it feels so soft and luxurious. It is non irritating and so it is perfect for my skin type. Packing is good too. It really absorbed well in skin. Doesn't feel sticky at all.

The texture is think yet not too thick, it absorbs into the skin at just the right speed but without leaving any oily film or residue. It is scentless (perfect for those who react to perfumes in products and have sensitive skin like myself). The packaging is simple yet effective. The product is an overall top favourite of mine. I wash my hands quite frequently throughout the day due to work and this leaves my hands feeling as though I havent taken all the natural oil out of my skin. Brilliant product will definitely purchase this in the future!!

The packaging is standard, the cream smells like standard moisturiser too there’s not much of a scent. As for the ingredients I think they’re good ingredients and pretty basic which is good with skincare, there is niacinamide so if you don’t react well to it then that’s something to note.
