It offers sun protection with oil control, ideal for humid summer days. The packaging could be improved. Fragrance-free, though it may leave a slight white cast.

My skin is on fire after only using this for a week. Dried me out so bad. I would never use again or recommend.

Great at reducing shine and gave my face a nice matte finish. However one time it got into my eyes while driving and I couldn't open my eyes for A FEW SECONDS while on the highway. So scary! I now just don't use it around my eyes

smells bad, does not feel good on the skin. made my eyes burn, which seems common after reading the other reviews. dosent absorb well into the skin if it gets hot out it will start dripping down your face. my skin was breaking out as well but i don’t know if that is related to this product or not.

I went through 2-3 bottles of this and it works great in the morning. I have oily skin and my face is less shiny after applying, plus it protects from the sun. The downside is when working outdoors or toward the end of the day, my eyes would start burning pretty badly. I stopped using this product about a week ago and the burning stopped. If this product was reformulated to forego the eye burning, I’d try it again.

This product burned my eyes so bad I could barely see.

I was given this product as a sample (sample size shown in photo) by my dermatologist and I absolutely love it! I bought the full sized bottle and separated it into some travel containers so I can have it in two different bathrooms and my travel bag. A little goes a long way with this product, one pump is plenty. This moisturizer is white but once it is applied it gives a really light/sheer coverage. It does not have a strong scent of sunblock and doesn’t feel super oily with it on compared to similar SPF products from other brands. I also like to apply this to my ears! Pair this moisturizer with the matching foaming cleaners for a dynamic duo! I highly suggest giving this a try!!!!! Side note: I am in my late 30s and have some rosacea. I have sensitive skin and sensitivity to scents.

I’ve used the Cetaphil Dermacontrol Oil Controlling Foam wash for a long time, but I recently got serious about skincare. So when it came time to look for a staple sunscreen, I ran into this, excited it was in the same line of cetaphil dermacontrol products. I liked that it was a moisturizer with SPF. On first impression, I liked that it didn’t leave a white cast (because it’s a chemical sunscreen) and that it left my skin feeling moisturized without feeling greasy or more oily. Now when I started using this product, it was in the early summer/late spring before it got too hot and i was having no issues. But then the temperature started to get to the 90s and I started sweating a lot more (I’m an active person who rides a bike for transportation). That’s when I started to notice that my eyes would burn like crazy whenever I sweat after applying it. I then realized that the product is not water resistant, something I didn’t take into account and I assumed was. It’s not the product’s fault, because it doesn’t say that it’s supposed to be water resistant, and the instructions do recommend to use a water resistant sunscreen when sweating. But I just feel that for a brand that prides itself on being gentle for sensitive skin, you’d think they would make the product with ingredients that either wouldn’t irritate the eyes or at least formulate the product to be water resistant. So if you’re someone who has oily skin but doesn’t spend too much time outside or you want a dedicated moisturizing sunscreen for times when you won’t sweat, this is a decent product. But if you’re looking for an all purpose face sunscreen and don’t want to have different types of sun protection for different situations, then I would skip on this one. Im disappointed, but I do give credit to Target and its generous return policy. Even though the product had been used a few times, I was still able to return the product.

I was scared to try this because of the reviews, and I’m all too familiar with the sunblock eye burning, but I’ve been running errands for the last four hours in 110 degree heat, I’m sweating and I’m not oily at ALL. I’m usually an oil slick by hour two of my office job. I probably wouldn’t wear this to work out or anything because I can see where the eye burning could happen, but for regular wear it’s great so far. I have really sensitive skin and it’s not burning or irritated, and the sunblock smell goes away. I really enjoy this moisturizer.

Moisturizing without a greasy feeling however I don’t see any oil absorption. DEFINITELY irritates and stings eyes so do not apply near eyes

I would not recommend this to anyone with an oily t zone. I used it two days in a row. At the end of the first day I had a spot by my nose and my t zone was SLICK! Thought I should give my skin a chance to adjust so used it again the next day and boom! By the end of the day I had a spot on the other side of my nose and my whole face was a shiny as a teenage boys! Considering I’m a middle aged woman this was disappointing! I returned it. The hunt for an shine control, sensitive skin, SPF containing moisturizer continues. Sigh.

Good for controlling oil at first, but it makes my non oily skin slimy & wet feeling by the end of the day. It’s also making my hair oily and stringy because I have fine hair. Also stings eyes.

I’ve worn this multiple times and have tried applying it several different ways. It always irritates my eyes terribly!!!

This product is amazing I keep it in my makeup bag for travel. It have spf 30 sunscreen protection. For acne prone skin. Its a 4 oz bottle priced great. Very effective if you have oily skin and just about anything cant cuase a breakout with out this product.

good at controlling oil initially. However throughout the day my skin starts drying out and then begins over compensating by producing more oil and ultimately clogs pores. I don’t think this moisturizer is for me unfortunately

I am always hesitant to try new skincare because I have really sensitive skin. This has been an amazing day time moisturizer! I love that it has spf 30 but doesn’t smell like sunscreen. I melts right into my skin
