Champion Women's Pleated Skort

I was initially excited about the plus size option. It seems like a great perk. However, the design of the skirt isn't very flattering for a plus size figure. It's stretchy and all the wrong places and I wish that there was more give and structure in the waist line. Overall, being transparent, it feels poorly constructed. And it seems like not much thought was truly put into actually designing for plus size bodies.. beyond simply offering the option.

The sizing of the skort is terrible. Sizing up is an understatement. The jacket is cute if you pull the elastic cords but without the skirt it is not worth the price.

I sized up two sizes and it still would not zip. Also, the color was more of a faded brown than the deep maroon shown.

I purchased the complete set of both colors. I usually buy all my clothes off the rack without having to try them on, because I wear a solid size 8 and a medium top. The medium jacket fits perfect but the size 8 skort ran small (not standard size). I’m going to size up because I love the quality of the outfit, but all and all for people to have to size up NUMEROUS sizes is a bit ridiculous. Sizes are measurements for a reason and the pattern for the article of clothing should accurately match.

The sizing is so off on this, I was convinced I accidentally grabbed a child’s size. I normally wear a 10/12 and could not even get a 16 on my body.

I usually wear a 6 and the top skirt fits me perfectly. The shorts under the skirt are a little tight, but I'm okay with that. I know how to sew, and since I liked the idea of ​​the skirt and the style, I decided to fix it. I ripped the shorts off the top skirt and they turned out to be cut too low at the waist and were very small. As soon as I removed the shorts from the skirt, the skirt fell into place. The shorts stopped pulling the skirt down my hips. Also, the back half of the skirt is one inch wider than the front, so the waistband at the small of the back was wider than it should be. If you want to buy this skirt, just be prepared to take it to a clothing repair shop. I think there was a mistake made at the factory during production; this happens.

If you want this skirt literally go up 4 sizes and I’m not joking I usually wear a 16, I grabbed the 16 at the store tried it on and it didn’t even go past my thigh, I read the reviews that said go up 4 sizes and that’s what I did, fits like a glove. DO NOT and I repeat do not get your regular size, even if you go up 2 sizes, it’s not going to fit!!!!! Go up 4, thank me later

I’m giving this item two stars. The quality and color are perfect with no damage, everything looks great. The only issue is the sizing—it runs small, so I recommend sizing up.

This skirt is very cute, but I was absolutely crushed that the size 8 my bf got barely fit. I usually wear a 6. I'm so relieved to hear it's not just me! Definitely needs to be sized up 1-2 sizes.

I normally wear a size 4. I tried on a 6 in the store and it ran very small. So I grabbed an I figuring it would fit perfect. When I got home and tried on the 8 I was so disappointed to find it fit EXACTLY the same as the 6! We have to be belittled enough for our size these days, making a product so small that someone who wears a 4 has to purchase a 10 is absolutely unacceptable! Do better Target!

I usually wear size 2 and 4, the jacket is a small and this skirt is a size 6 in the picture and when zipping up the skirt, it hurt my waist… had to do a size 8.

I purchased in 2 sizes larger than my usual size and it still could barely fit over my thighs. It runs extremely small. I think I’d have to size up by 4 sizes. I will return.
