Charles Reznikoff's Verse (1894-1976) explores that most unique position from many conflicting perspectives and through very different timeframes, ranging from the early 1920s to the mid-1970s, from inside the US to South-America and Europe, to better illustrate Reznikoff's transhistorical and transnational significance beyond the confines of any single context. In doing so, this work insists on the multifaceted accessibility of Reznikoff's work, as well as on the need for literary analysis to distance itself from controlling critical frameworks and favor a kaleidoscope of competing interpretations instead.
