I'm old and I have used Charmin for years. I bought a package of Charmin essentials toilet paper and honestly it reminded me of the cheap toilet paper used at Wallymart ssanrong

Charmin is our family's favorite brand of toilet paper and has been for a long time. When our store ran out of ultra soft we decided to give the Essential Soft Mega Roll a try. I bought the Ultra Soft by mistake once, the septic rank clogged. There must have been a whole package worth of undisclosed paper in the tank. I bought it again this week because, who needs 4 different types of paper in 4 different size packages that get all mixed together on the store shelves? I saw "Soft" and grabbed it. My husband just reminded me what happened the last time.

We're sorry you feel this way, Lisa. Extensive research goes into making our TP, and we have worked with master plumbers, such as Roto-Rooter, to ensure clogs are not caused by our products. My online stores have stopped carrying the regular "Soft" brand of Charmin in the mega rolls. I tried the Ultra strong which is WAY to harsh on my skin, and tried the Ultra Soft which is WAY too soft and a total waste. I'm now searching for a new brand that is equal to Charmin "Soft" since their other ones aren't working for me. What a hassle. Why are they getting rid of this one?! I need it! Sensitive skin!

I'm happy that I found this paper. The ultra soft is so soft that it leaves lint all over everything, and the strong is so strong that it is not good for toilets. This one is in the middle, and it is fine for our purposes.

a couple of months ago i bought a package of Charmin Essential Mega Roll because it was 2 ply. about 3 weeks ago, i bought another package but noticed it was 1 ply. when i looked at the package, it said 1 ply, where the previous package said 2 ply. terribly disappointed that a major brand would make such a big change with not notice. guess greed wins out.

I am so disappointed with this Mega roll shift and this fit guarantee marketing scam is ridiculous! This use to be a great product worthy of its higher cost now it’s no better than generic competitors and doesn’t fit on my wall holder! Nothing last forever I guess.

This was the worst toilet paper I have ever purchased. So thin it breaks apart immediately. I have been a true fan of Kirkland's toilet paper and I definitely will be going back to it. I just wish I could return the Charmin but it is already opened.

I’ve purchased Charmin tp consistently; however, with this product and the cost of the other product lines, you’re losing a customer. I know I’m only one person, but word-of-mouth goes far. Cheaper is definitely NOT better.
