Bitter

It’s one of the low point foods on the WW program so I thought I’d make it my daily breakfast. I used to eat handfuls of it as a snack. Now it seems to have a terrible, bitter aftertaste. I can’t make it my breakfast.

What happened to the original Cheerios? They used to be puffier and tasted better. Something obviously changed and I am not a fan - which is too bad since I have loved them for many years.

WHY the added sugar?

I have changed from Cheerios to Walmart's imitation because the Great Value brand has no sugar added, but is just as tasty as Cheerios.

Do not eat Round Up

I will never buy cheerios again because they have continued to allow this cereal to be marketed for children and babies knowing full well that this product has contained high levels of glyphosate, especially after the Round Up lawsuit happened. It is criminal that this product was even allowed to be distributed. The amounts are now dropping but it is still in this cereal. This is the report published in 2023 by EWG.

I love plain Cheerios always have. My 21 year old teacup Yorkshire terrier has lost a good deal of teeth. She no longer can chew treats. It was very sad because she didn’t care for her new soft food. I was worried she wouldn’t make it. One day I was eating my cheerios and one fell and she ate! She now is is healthy and happy. Thank you for bringing the life back in my dog.
