Not chew proof on Long Island
Perhaps it just has to be plastic coated wire inside. Chicken wire is ok but hard to wrangle at that height.

This was very helpful
We got this to secure a small patch of lawn and fragile flower bed from our rambunctious puppy. It was easy to install and sturdy even in high winds.

Rabbits chew right through this netting!
I purchased 2 rolls of this "chew proof" hardware netting and, along with my 2 adult sons, spent an entire 2 days digging a 6" deep trough under 50 feet of vinyl fencing, line the inside of the fence and the trough with the netting and then fill the trough with river rock to keep the rabbits out of my yard. The rabbits chewed through it like it was made of grass. DO NOT BUY THIS expecting it to actually be "chew proof" as claimed. Your kid might not be able to chew through it but the bunnies will make Swiss cheese of it.

Light but effective
Works really well with Fence Stakes from Gardeners supply. The material slides right on and off the clips. Easy to cut where you need to, regular scissors will do the job. Even made a gate to access my plants.

Goodbye gophers
There were a lot of gophers in my backyard. I laid this down at the bottom of my raised garden beds and never had a problem. Worked great.

Great solution and easy to install
Last year I needed a quick solution for protecting a new vegetable garden. Some gardening friends suggested I visit this site that they count on for gardening supplies. I ordered two rolls to wrap around a pretty big garden. Easy. I was not able to buy the stakes last year (out of stock) so I ended up using rebar and durable zip ties to keep the fencing up and for extra measure, stapled the fencing at the bottom of the raised bed. Great solution and ended up buying another one for a second garden. Absolutely no problems with rabbits now. Sister bought a number of rolls for her garden this year.

I bought this product again
one of the easiest netting to use. I reordered so I could use on other sections of the garden. Using the 4 ft stakes the netting went up quickly. Only problem I had to use the long earth staples to secure to ground so animals could not crawl under it.

great way to keep critters out of a garden
I was so happy to find this product to keep little critters out of my garden. It's so much easier to use than chicken wire.

So far so good
I'm using this with the four foot fence stakes with clips to surround my raised beds. I've pushed the 4 foot stakes into the bed corners as far as I can, but the 3 foot tall net doesn't reach quite to the ground. Next year I'll dig holes outside the beds to get the stakes deeper, and use earth staples to pin the bottom of the net st the ground.

not chewproof
squirrels AND chipmunks ate their way through within a couple minutes. The only advantage to this netting over not having any netting at all is that it is something of a deterrent, like an annoyance for the squirrels to climb up and go through the hole. It also allowed me to set some traps right outside the holes in the netting to also act as a deterrent. Separately, I wrote to Gardeners about over a month ago asking why they can't develop a stainless steel cage to fit over their raised beds and haven't received a response, so I'm building my own...

Definitely NOT chew-proof
I bought numerous rolls of this "netting" to protect my espalier apple trees from squirrels. I'm sorry to say that it was a failure and the squirrels have all but decimated my apple crop. This product is obviously NOT chew-proof and was a waste of money and effort.

Keep those pesky chipmunks out!!!
I like that the holes are small enough to prevent chipmunks from going through.

Took less than a week for the squirrels to chew through it
I bought the crop cages but they only tie at the bottom whivch I knew would not work so I purchased four rolls of the chew through net. Lasted less than a week when I arrived home and the blueberries were all gone.
