Chicco LullaGo Nest Portable Bassinet - Dove

This would be a 5 star review if the mattress wasn’t so awful. Other than the mattress, it is a great product. They should really fix the mattress though for real. It feels like it was made with cheap cardboard, so I took off two stars on my rating. I was pretty disappointed when I saw the poor quality of mattress. Everything else on the product is excellent quality otherwise, and it is a pretty bassinet.

For the price I think this looks tacky, it looks alright in picture, but when you get it the birds and material look so cheap. Used it with my first baby, and it worked good for a little while, until the mesh started ripping when she was 12 pounds when the limit is 20. Not to mention the annoying part in the mattress that dips in. When I had my premature son who was born at 29+3 and came home at just over 5lb he would roll downward because of the slant that was caused by the dip. I had to lay him in the dip so he would be able to roll over and suffocate himself! I’d give 0 stars if I could.

My baby has been sleeping in this bassinet for one month now and the mattress is awful. I saw other negative reviews but went ahead and bought it anyway because it was one of the few bassinets with a canopy to help shield out light. But the mattress is so terrible I regret this purchase. Its gap in the middle is large and he squirms around at night because he is uncomfortable and it worries me he will squirm down in the gap. It is hard to take the sheet/mattress pad combo it comes with off, making it anoying to wash. I like the look, style, and colors, but I am tired, baby is tired. I will be looking for something new soon.

Chicco has great products so I thought I was safe buying a bassinet from them. The mattress is horrible. It’s hard as a rock and is uneven. My baby is always lopsided and I can only place him on half of the mattress.

Assembly was quick and easy! Doesn’t take up much space and is a nice neutral color. We often take the bassinet to my parents and it makes for an easy transition for the baby to sleep in whether we are at home or overnight somewhere.

The first thing that caught my eye about this bassinet was the fact that everyone was raving about the ease of use! When I received the bassinet it was easy to assemble and the perfect size to place in any room and leave put together (doesn't take up a ton of space) or disassemble and store easily or transport. The fabric is also a nice color and very easy to clean and the sides are mesh, which makes for great airflow. Overall a great product! Utilizing for my first grandchild. :) Bassinets have come a long way. Appreciated how easy to assemble and it's smallish footprint. Sturdy but portable; easy to pick up to move to another room without dismantling. It's a perfect height to be able to lay down and pick up baby. The canopy reduces glare. It is also easy to take apart for washing as I would not have utilized if I could not have done so. This is so convenient for us to use while looking after our grandchild. Chico provides this product to me in exchange for my honest opinion, and honestly we love it. Super lightweight. Super easy to put together, I was able to put it together with out even looking at the directions. And the carrying case is amazingly convenient for traveling. The neutral grey color is adorable and the mesh sides are a reassuring piece of mind. I love the giant storage pocket also, great for keeping a few essentials in. I would recommend this product to everyone who is expecting.

I registered for this for my shower because of the good reviews. I hate then mattress. From the fold in the middle it leaves a crease. I swaddle my daughter and she squirms around during the night. Every night if not multiple times per night I find her laying horizontal across the crease and have to move her back. She is a slightly long baby and her neck gets cocked to the side and her legs are scrunched up. Not a fan of this and I’ll likely have to move her to her crib earlier than I’d like to, she’s only 6 weeks old right now.

I received this bassinet as a baby shower gift. It was listed as one of the best bassinets to buy. After assembling it we noticed the mattress slouches in the middle where it folds. My son refuses to sleep in this bassinet and always cry’s when we put him in it. The mattress needs to be reconstructed to sit level in the bassinet. We’ve been forced to sleep with my son in the bed with us in his portable brica bassinet.

I bought this about a month ago. It is a very sturdy bassinet and safe for the baby to sleep. I like the full breathable mesh sides. The only thing that has been an issue is that the mattress does not lay flat so my baby has not been able to sleep in it as much as I would love to. Hopefully they will find a way tomcorrect this issue on this bassinet.

I didn't know what to expect when unpacking the LullaGo Nest Portable Bassinet. My expectation was that it would be fairly convenient to set up, but I had doubts about it's dependability on a daily basis. I've only been using it for a few weeks now, but I am utterly impressed by the quality of the product. And happily, it meets the very mobile lifestyle my wife, newborn and I lead. We are often breaking down the bassinet multiple times daily, transporting our daughter to and from daycare, but it's been an absolute breeze. Beyond the general convenience, the bassinet is simply adorable, as we've come to expect from Chicco products. I really couldn't be happier and expect to use the bassinet as long as my daughter allows. Chicco provided this product to me in exchange for my honest opinion.

It’s great to keep in your car for days on the go when baby might need to sleep at grandmas or wherever! It’s very large and comes with a cute stuffed birds that attach for baby to look at. Although this product is very portable the quality is still great. You could have baby sleep in this full time if you wanted to and it looks great in any room and is not an eye sore like some baby products.Overall a really great product!

This bassinet is great! It is so easy to assemble and take apart, convenient to travel with, and cute! We used this to transition our 10 week old out of the Rock N Play. We had tried his crib, but he was not having it, so I wasn't sure how he would do in the bassinet, since it is flat also. He did amazing! He only woke one extra time the first night, and since then has slept 6-8 hours at a time. It is so nice to be able to have something that doesn't take up a lot of space in our bedroom, but also is big enough that he will be able to use it for a while. We received this for our third baby, and haven't ever used a bassinet prior to this. The Lulla Go Nest bassinet is yet another great example of how Chicco makes assembly/installation a cinch. Assembly took less than five minutes, even forcing myself to read through the directions the first time. Taking it apart was just as easy. The portability of this bassinet is also a winning feature. I debated trying a Halo bassinet instead of the Chicco, but it's footprint is much larger and it's definitely not something I'd take places with me. We plan for this to be for everyday use with baby, but it will be great for the trips we have planned, too, or even just taking to Grandma's house for the day. It is lightweight, very sturdy, and everything fits easily into the tote bag. I was skeptical of the "large" mesh pocket being big enough to be useful, but it will definitely easily hold a changing pad, a few diapers, and some wipes. I love that the fabrics can be taken off completely and machine washed when needed. The neutral colors are very in style. The only critique I have so far is very very minor - a snap or zipper on the tote bag would be nice to make sure the legs aren't sliding out if you're transporting it in the car. This product from Chicco was so easy to put together!! I’m not someone with a lot of patience for putting items together, but this bassinet was super easy! It’s sturdy, and I feel very comfortable putting my baby in it. The portable feature is a definite plus! I will need to transport the bassinet to my parents home, and this product comes with a carry bag. I highly recommend this Chicco product!

This bassinet was amazingly easy to put together- even as someone who tends to ignore instructions! The travel bag makes it ideal for going on a trip or to visit friends & family. The neutral design works with our nursery and our bedroom. Great value for money.
