Yes, I tested it out haha You would have to grip it tightly for it to break! These could work at any kind of event; birthday parties, weddings, sweets 16's....so on! I will definitely keep these in mind for the future if I hold any special occasions. They are also perfect for an every day kind of use. I would highly recommend! My toddler loves drinking from it. I loved drinking from it...so it's a win-win in my book. If you haven't tried these yet definitely try them soon! we put sparkling cider in it! There was no leaks from the cup unless we accidentally tipped it over haha
