I bought this CD for the title track, which is an original Christmas song. What prompted me was hearing Chris Christian interviewed on a yacht rock podcast. He had a huge career, much of it behind the scenes, on many yacht rock and Christian contemporary records (including his own). This albums as a whole sounds very 80s’. In the liner notes he talks about using drum machines and other 80’s tech (think Mannheim Steamroller). However, some songs like the title track are also very yachty. It won’t go in heavy rotation, but I will probably pull it out every Christmas.
