Christmas Belgian Chocolate Cocoa Spoons with Peppermint Crunch - 1.55oz/4ct - Favorite Day™

Last year's 2.24 Oz for 6 dollars, is 1.55 Oz for 5 dollars. So they give 33% less chocolate but the charge only dropped by 16%. The old kit use to come with 3 spoons, but now, there is only enough chocolate to make what 2 spoons use to make.. It could have been an okay jump in price to charge the 5 dollars for 2 spoons, except they split the smaller amount of chocolate among more spoons, and now each spoon does not have enough chocolate to make a good cup. So before I could make 3 good drinks with 3 good spoons. Now I can make 2 good drinks with 4 sad spoons. I would have rather they raised the price more and kept the 2 spoons with the original volume of chocolate each than this weird split they did to make it appear like there are more spoons even though in actuality the volume of chocolate powder is now of 2 proper spoons split among 4 spoons. It feels like too much manipulation to hide the change in value. The spoons still make good chocolate though, if I use 2 spoons, I get the same product as last year.

It worked well and gave a nice peppermint flavor that was not too overpowering. My only complaint is that I wish more chocolate was on the spoon since I’m a chocolate lover. All you need to do is make hot water or milk and stir the cocoa spoon in while it melts. This is the perfect treat to warm up with in the colder months! I received an incentive to write this review.

She likely chocolate taste but not the peppermint so she tried to take a lot of the peppermint pieces off. I made this hot chocolate spoon in hot milk and eventually once it completely melted, it tasted decent. It took quite a while for the chocolate and the candies to melt into the milk and even when it was completely melted, there was still specks of chocolate floating. I think I may just stick with the powdered hot chocolate from now on. I received an incentive to write this review.

My daughter uses it to stir the cocoa and water together, and then it gave the cocoa a very rich, extra chocolate-y flavor which she loved. It was a little hard for us to taste the peppermint crunch though. But very good. I received an incentive to write this review.

I wanted to love this but these are not great. The chocolate is reluctant to fully melt off the spoon, no matter how hot you make the milk. It's also not very sweet and only a tiny hint of mint. I'd got with making your own or trying a packet...

Delicious addition to any hot cocoa to make it more chocolatey rich!
