This is not the same as it’s been in the past. First it’s small. I’ve been a teacher for 14 years. 4 and 5 year olds. I buy this house every single year at Christmas time for the kids to color. It is so small this year. They can sit inside of it, but definitely can’t stand. They have always been able to stand inside. Secondly it’s thinner than ever. I have put together many of these houses and never had a problem. Half my tabs just ripped off this year because the cardboard is so much thinner. It’s very disappointing

Two of the pieces came bent so the door doesn’t close and the side bulges. Disappointing because the kids immediately started coloring and I was hoping it wouldn’t affect it but unfortunately it does once it is put together. Check all the pieces before showing to the kids

Super cute, invites a lot of imagination play, however, it is cardboard so don’t have more than one person assembling at once it will tear, and the directions show steps but not a lot of detail so figuring out which way to get each piece together is implied not described.

Took a lot to put together and all the pieces just broke apart, you have to insert little tabs and they just rip if you tug on them.

So cute and festive. Great activity for the kids!

My kid loves it but it’s not worth $30. Maybe $15-$20 like they were in the past. Hard to put together and probably won’t last until Christmas, but my preschooler has loved coloring it and playing in it.

The idea is really cute and the size of fort is decent. However for $30 it’s a little lack luster. It did not come with any coloring material, even though that’s the whole point. And there is a built in game on one side of the camper but it doesn’t come with the “pom-poms” needed to play the game. For $30 I feel like a box of markers and some Pom poms could have been included. Also it takes more time than you would think to set up and I would highly suggest setting it up while little hands are not around to help. The directions seemed a bit vague in my opinion especially for when you need to thread flaps to secure sides it doesn’t tell you which side to do it from you have to figure it out through trial and error. Knowing what I know now I would have gladly paid half price for this not full, and if you plan to gift to someone with kids I would highly recommend assembling it for them.
