Christmas Fudge Butter Toffee Almonds - 23oz - Favorite Day™

While I am disappointed in the change of ingredients, I don't think they are as horrible as some of the reviewers describe. To be fair I waited a few days and went back to taste again. If I could deduct 1.5 stars for the change I would, but no more. If possible when better quality is available at a better price, please go back. Meanwhile these will do. They won't make angels sing but they also won't give you devil horns.

The quality of the chocolate is not the same. These used to be my favorite.

I’m so disappointed in these almonds this year! They have become a staple in our house at Christmas time the past few years. I bought many many containers for parties, gifts and my own family. BUT this year they taste so different. Not the same creamy delicious treat as before and tastes more fake. I will not be buying more this year.

These used to be my holiday go to! Looked online to see if they were available yet, As soon as I saw the title fudge, I knew...they used to be "Milk Chocolate" and were divine. I tried them anyway hoping it was just a label change. but no, not the same at all. Even my 20+ sons noticed, and they dont notice much lol.

Agree with everyone else who is disappointed that they've changed from milk chocolate covered to chocolate flavored. The difference in taste is extremely disappointing, as they are no longer as delicious as they were with actual milk chocolate. I understand there is an issue with the cacao beans, but unless you go back to using milk chocolate on these, I won't be buying them again. All year long I look forward to stocking up on these during the holiday, and am so disappointed that the product changed for the worse.

Looks like I’m not the only one that noticed that these have changed this year. I usually buy these every year and they are so good but this year you can tell they changed. Super sad these were really good.

These used to be SO delicious. I buy this every year, and they taste like chocolate, flavored oil now. First of all, it’s bio engineered, then it doesn’t even say chocolate, it says chocolate flavored.

I was so terribly disappointed when my favorite day milk chocolate butter, toffee almonds became chocolate flavored almonds with no milk, no butter… only artificial ingredients. What were you thinking? I used to buy a ton of these and I won’t touch them now. Please go back to real, natural ingredients. So terribly disappointing and they’re even more calories now.

These used to taste indulgent. Now they taste cheap. Someone much have complained that they were too delicious and now they’re not. Ew.

This year these treats are not the same as last year. The first thing you taste is a cocoa powder flavor. Similar to hot chocolate. It never used to taste like that in years past. It also seemed overly sweet than before. Why did they have to change such a great product??

What a shame. These were our families favorite for the past few years. I couldn’t wait to purchase them again. I ordered 5 online, some to keep and others to gift. Oh but why did you change and mess with the ingredients. Horrible!! Chocolate flavored instead of real milk chocolate. These no longer taste the same. Do not buy, for they do not taste the same.

I used to buy 2-3 of these each holiday season. They were so good and addictive and I looked forward to them every year. This year i bought one as soon as they were available and they’re terrible this year. Something has changed and they do not taste the same or good. I threw out the container after a few bites which I never do. They were never going to get eaten though.

I wish I had paid more attention to the label when I put these in my cart. These are chocolate FLAVORED butter toffee almonds, not the same as the chocolate coated almonds from years past. I know that the cacao shortage that the world is currently experiencing is a likely culprit of this change up, and a lot of business (large and small) are pivoting their products to contend with it, but I feel like I just paid a more premium price (same as last year) for a very subpar product. I hate food waste and it feels a little painful to get rid of these, but I cannot bring myself to eat more than the few that I tried. I wish Target just skipped this treat all together for the year and subbed in another candy coated, white chocolate, or literally any other option over the faux chocolate flavor. I can’t get my dollars back at this point but I can save you from spending yours on these.

Made Cheaply. They actually found a way to ruin these addictive delights. The "chocolate" is blech and bland a definite ingredient downgrade to save the company money. No wonder they fired so many Corp people, use outside contractors to merchandise, and are only hiring part-time. They used the cheapest method to make these and couldn't even lower the cost.

I love the product. However, your internet program is the most frustrating process I have ever used. I quit using my Target card last year becasue your online program was the pits. It still is. It will not acknowledge passwords that I KNOW are correct, nor the PIN that I use successfully whenever I use my Target card

These are such a disappointment from the previous years. They used to be so good! I looked forward to them every year. Not this year these are horrible! They went from Milk Chocolate to Chocolate Flavored. We bought 3. Definitely going to take the other two back. Since they are not opened.
