I’m a first grade teacher and we decorate gingerbread houses every year. This kit makes it easy for me to just purchase a few and use amongst my class. Years past I would buy individual bags of candy and have so much left over. This is convenient; the students like the taste but they’re kids, lol. I like less waste and convenience so I will purchase again next year!!!!

Cute kit with nice colors.
I used this kit with another Favorite Day gingerbread kit and it worked well. The colored frostings are a little on the runny side. Maybe not even runny but just not stiff and take some time to dry. Definitely better for decorating than for helping any candies stick. If applying to vertical surfaces they may have to be set flat for a bit for the frosting to set up or they will slide/drip down. Thankfully the white icing from the other kit was stiff and sticky enough for decorating with candy. I would definitely buy this kit along with other Favorite Day gingerbread kits in the future. What I thought might end up as a stack of gingerbread doused in icing and topped with sprinkles actually turned out to be a successful little fun activity and actually resembles a gingerbread house.

Good kit
This was convenient to not have to purchase all these things separately, just be aware they are really small portions/quantities of everything. I still ended up buying more candy and sprinkles to decorate with, but my kids did enjoy what this came with.

Disgusting taste. Cheap tubes split open.
The colors were very cute. When I tried to use the pink, the back end of the tube blew out and squirted frosting everywhere. I instinctively licked some of the icing off my fingers. This can be chalked up as one of my biggest mistakes. It is difficult to find words to describe the taste, but I assume that is what rancid cardboard tastes like. It stuck to my tongue and I ended up washing my tongue off in the kitchen sink in a desperate bid to get rid of the awful taste. Made some good memories for my family, who found the situation hilarious, but I think next year I will just make my own icing for the gingerbread house.

Good for the price but lower quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set was rather cheap, so I did not have high hopes. The frosting was cheaper quality. The green decorations were kind of stale. The hard candies were just what your would expect. For the price, I was not surprised with the quality of this package. I received an incentive to write this review.

Perfect for littles cookie
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I picked this up I was a little concerned because it was smaller than I thought it would be. However this small package packs a big punch! You get 3 icings and if you were skilled enough you could actually write with them on your cookie like a pencil! They were easy to use for my son and he really enjoyed being creative with his cookie masterpiece. You truly get all you need. If you don’t intend to ice every cookie, this kit will easily decorate 2 dozen. But if you are fully icing all the cookies you would run out quickly. I received an incentive to write this review.

Candy decorations kit favorite day
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This container of festive Mary and bright candies are perfect for a super colorful theme gingerbread man house. The gummy Christmas trees were super delicious more sweet than anything no sour. The candy balls are a little hard to chew, I think they're supposed to be like many jawbreakers I definitely recommend. I received an incentive to write this review.

Cute but not enough varieties in the kit.
Wish there could have been more different varieties in the kit. The red color icing packaging ripped from the pressure and it was coming out of a different self made hole. It was really messy and I couldn't decorate much with it since all the icing was coming out in chunks from a different hole.

If you're look for elaborate decorations I would advise you to try a different item. The can't decorations have a good taste just not the look we are going for.

Just ok, missing items in kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a good baking set, especially when you can get a variety all in one box. Honestly, I didn’t love this set and the items didn’t seem like they were quality products. Also, my tree gummies were missing from my set. The coloring icing was dull in color and the circle candies would be difficult to eat since they were bigger in size. I received an incentive to write this review.
