This purple shampoo works well to eliminate brassy tones in blonde hair. I use this once a week and it keeps my platinum hair brass free. It does dry out hair so don't use it too much.

This conditioner works far better than any purple shampoo I’ve ever tried. It has about 5x the toning power of a shampoo, in my opinion. I’m left with a very cool blonde every time I use it on my previously bleached and toned hair! I knew the Shimmer Lights shampoo was superb, so I tried this, and I’m glad I did!

I was warned about this product by the clerk when I checked out—she told me she had used this, and it really dried her hair out, and she hoped I would have a different experience. But it is absolutely terrible. Used it twice and threw the rest away. There is no creamy texture to it at all, and if anything, it left my hair more brittle than if I had not used the product at all, only shampooed. Avoid!

I recently dyed my hair with some blonde highlights and I used this conditioner to tone down the blonde and this conditioner is super watery and didn’t help at all. Made my hair smell bad and No change at all.

I use the shampoo and have never had an issue with it. I had to do a double take to make sure I didn't buy another shampoo bottle instead of conditioner because of how thin the liquid was. The shampoo is less drying than the conditioner and my hair feels AWFUL after using this. It's going in the trash, I don't know if the product went bad or what but it makes your hair feel brittle.

The bottle says no test strand needed but buyer beware! This burn every part of my hair, made my eyes burn and my hair has never been so dry. Plus the smell, oh my gosh the horrible smell! Spend the extra money for Redkin!

I dyed my hair blonde and my hair came out orang-ish/copper. Someone recommended that I try this product to achieve the blonde color I truly wanted, it corrected the color. 10 out of 10 recommend. Just don't leave on for too long because certain portions of my hair actually turned greenish and purple.

It made my hair so dry and did not help the brassy colors in my hair. I really would not recommend, I don’t care if the price is cheap. For hair care, you get what you pay for - and while it says professional on the bottle, my stylist would never use this on my head.
