I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I use this cleanser for just a few days because it was a small sample. The creamy texture turns into light silty foam that feels gentle on the skin. I didn't feel any dryness or harsh. Tugging. Has someone in my '50s would skin that leans on the dry side, I appreciate how it leaves my face feeling clean, soft and hydrated and never tight. I've noticed my skin looks smoother and a bit brighter. It also rinses easily which is a big plus. If you have mature or sensitive skin and want to cleanser that feels luxurious yet effective, this is worth trying.

I adore this cleanser. I initially received a deluxe sample and loved it so much, that I bought not one but two! It initially feels almost like a lotion and the fragrance is soooo lovely. Once water gets to it, the foaming process begins. It's hydrating and still can cut through mascara. Love love love Clarins!

Loved the former formula, it left you feeling clean and hydrated - never had issues. The new formula is absolutely awful and so different. I’m so frustrated that it changed so much. Leaves your skin feeling squeaky and like a film on it but also stripped. Do not recommend. Hoping the old formula comes back so I can stop having to find a new cleanser.

The new cleanser is really hard to use! It's super hard to use! I can't get it clean for a long time, it smells weird, and I keep getting breakouts and allergies, who developed this? Really angry too hard to use, the old face wash used for a few years with no problem, change the new version is a complete waste of money but also the face to wash allergies, I hope to be able to change back to the old formula, thank you!
