Clean Simple Eats Protein Powder - Chocolate Peanut Butter - 1.2oz/1 Stick

This brand was recommended to me by my FNP. I’ve tried numerous different brands and have not found one that I enjoy. I especially hate the vegan powders. CSE is whey protein. It mixes well in a shaker, and there is no chalky or bitter aftertaste. It is a bit expensive but well worth it. Also it was NOT named in the recent Consumer Report article on the high lead content found in many protein powders on the market.

I didn’t want to buy the whole bag, so I appreciated the sample size. I would say it dissolved 95% of the way, which isn’t bad, but it was more gritty than my usual protein powder. I thought the taste was pleasant and neutral—it didn’t really taste that strong, both the chocolate and peanut butter flavors were very subtle. I didn’t realize when buying that it was sweetened with xylitol. It gave me an awful stomachache, and I have a dog, so I don’t need that kind of deadly risk in my house (it’s extremely toxic to dogs). I didn’t think the ingredients were really any better than most other similarly priced protein powders, but this brand is very effective at influencer marketing. My preferred protein powders are sweetened with erythritol, which is much easier to digest than xylitol. Overall, it was fine, and my curiosity is satisfied, but I won’t repurchase again.

I’m pleasantly surprised! Bought this on a whim, mixed it with unsweetened plain almond milk, and it was great. Now, I wouldn’t take this over a Fairlife, but it’s alright. Tasted more chocolaty, with just a hint of peanutbutter, but I don’t mind. Got a couple other flavors, looking forward to trying them in smoothies/ yogurt bowls.

I’ve been seeing this all over TikTok and Instagram, and I didn’t want to spend $64 on a big bag just to find out it wasn’t to my liking. So, I decided to try the individual serving size. Honestly, I was let down. The chocolate peanut butter flavor is bland and doesn’t have much chocolate or peanut taste. The vanilla flavor is also not great, but it’s not bad either. All in all it’s just okay.

I absolutely love PB and chocolate and to have it in a protein powder is even sweeter!! The taste is amazing and there’s no chalky taste or texture. Because it’s CSE’s specialty blend it doesn’t cause an upset stomach. I highly recommend this perfect blend and match of PB and Chocolate!

Clean Simple Eats is one of my favorite protein powders. I love that Target offers single serving packets so I can try different flavors. This particular one, I needed for a recipe and the single serve packets gave me what I needed without having to buy a whole box or bag. ❤️

I love mixing this flavor with Greek yogurt and some Catalina crunch for a filling breakfast!

The Chocolate Peaunit Butter protein powder is delicious. I mixed it with the Chocolate Silk collagen, and it tasted like a Reese's Cup milkshake.

I love the taste of this flavor - like drinking a melted PB cup. All the CSE flavors are great, but this one is a particular favorite. Try it with full-fat oat milk for the best taste!

It’s ok, it’s fine, but really needs a punch of peanut butter because you can’t taste it. For this price I shouldn’t have to add more peanut butter.

This sounded great but the amount of t of Stevia and monk fruit in it is way too much for me. If I use 1/4 scoop of this and 3/4 scoop of unflavored it’s about right.

This has perfected my Ninja Creami experience! The taste and texture exceeded my expectations. This is now my go-to flavor. Even my kids love it!

The powder is so finely ground, it dissolves quickly in fat free milk and mixes up so easily for a tasty protein coffee or shake.

I was looking for a little peanut butter cup action and that's just what I got. I add a little PB2 powder for some extra peanut butter kick and some plain yogurt to my shake and it's a real treat!

I wanted to love this. I like the individual packets and was hoping to travel with it. It tastes very artificial and I couldn’t eat it. I also found it didn’t mix well. Don’t recommend.

It was okay. Flavor-wise not much peanut butter flavor.

So happy with this product! I mix it with milk in the morning. Not super gritty which is always my complaint.
