Q: Why does it contain xylitol?

A: We have preferred to use xylitol because, unlike sugar or artificial sweeteners, there are health benefits. Xylitol won't cause a spike in your blood glucose or insulin, it has several benefits for oral and dental health, and it is easy to digest. To give perspective, there is an average of ~3g xylitol per serving of protein powder. Being birch sourced, it has a good/better tolerance vs alcohol produced from rice or corn. Some exciting news! This year we have been actively working on removing xylitol from our protein powders and hope to release them soon!

I purchased a single serving just to try it out and was actually happy that my target was selling single servings! I am on the hunt of finding my perfect protein drink/powder to mix in with my espresso concentrate. I decided to just blend this powder with a cup of milk before mixing in my espresso concentrate like i normally do with my other protein drinks, and that alone tasted really good! The only downside i would say is the price. It's a little over $30 for 10 servings which is pricey for me BUT I do think it tastes great. If it fits in your budget then i definitely recommend. If you purchase on their website, they do offer a subscription and it's about $55 for 30 servings and you get to choose how many weeks until your next purchase/delivery, just FYI. I am gonna try the coconut cream tomorrow and I'm excited.

I have been mixing the simply vanilla with 2% milk and pouring over a couple of shots of blonde epsresson for a very tasty morning ice drink. It mixes in well and doesn't leave an unpleasant aftertatse. Looking forward to trying more flavors.
