Q: Does this item have ruler alongside like i saw in the store?
A: YES, it does have a ruler grid along the sides. The left is centimeters and the right is inches. The front of the clipboard is smooth, but you can feel the raised numbers and lines on the back. Great clipboard, IMO!

Q: What is the thickness of this acrylic? Wondering if I can etch this, and need to know the thickness.
A: I just measured mine, and it is 2mm thick. Also just FYI, there are two raised ruler grid lines and a small rectangle (like for maybe a label?) on the back.
