A: I was wondering the same thing...it says "Origin USA" if you zoom in on the posted photo. Target's U Brand file folders are made in China FYI. I did not notice that in the store and will be returning them.

I compared these side by side with some generic file folders I purchased about 5 years ago. The target folders are noticibly more flimsy and made with thinner card stock. Not as nice. Won't last nearly as long.
