I have never used a product like these bamboo charcoal air purifier bags before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I decided to try using one of the bags inside our wooden blanket chest to help reduce or eliminate the smell we've noticed from the wood finisher. It does appear to be helping after only 1 week of use. I like that the bags have string included to be able to hang up if needed, like in a closet. The bags also include a spot to write down the starting date, so you can keep track of when to change them out.

So far I like these bamboo charcoal bags. I do slightly notice a difference in the air. But will need longer to fully get the benefits. I do wish they came with rope ties so I can hang them but I will just use my own yarn ties.
Water absorbing, yes. Odor absorbing, not so much.

I was excited to use one of these bamboo charcoal bags because sometimes in our bedroom it smells a little off, and also my in-laws made a special bed for my daughters doll that has been reaking of paint for a while. I wanted something that could remove the odors easily. I accidentally left the bed outside last night and rain got on it. I put one of the charcoal bags inside of the bed and it absorbs moisture really well. I don't think that the bags have helped any odors in our bedroom or the wooden bed. I'm a little skeptical about the bags even with the great claims.

These charcoal sachets are perfect for making drawers or closets less musty. They come with four strings that fit through a rivet, so they can be hung. I placed one in a coat closet that gets humid. I already use Damp Rid so I am eager to see if these charcoal bags are sufficient, as they are reuseable and the Damp Rid is one-time use. The instructions say to leave in the sun for two hours each month. I also placed some in bureaus with clothes.
