Q: What are canopy ties> Can these be connected to each other?

A:Â The 2 canopy ties in this assortment can be described as a plastic ball that both ends of the cord are connected to. There are no hooks with this arrangement. You could connect them to each other in the sense of threading them through each other to make one longer cord with a ball on each end. I used to buy this item just for the 2 canopy ties which I used to strap my laptop to my bike rack. I keep having to rebuy this item as the plastic balls are very cheaply make and are easy to break.
