Clinique High Impact Mascara - 0.28oz - Ulta Beauty

This mascara has always intrigued me and I finally gave it a try. My go to is the high impact zero gravity mascara, but this seems like a cult favorite. It gives my lashes length without getting clumpy. My only negative would be that it's marketed as a tubing mascara but it doesn't behave like one. It doesn't wash off in tubes, it just smears off like any other mascara. The zero gravity version is very very clearly a tubing mascara, while this is not. I'm still happy with it though!

This is my first time using this product. I purchased replacement skincare from the Clinique website and received a mini version of this mascara (along with other samples and a cosmetic bag) as part of a gift with purchase promotion. However, this mascara is horrible. Because this is my first time wearing this mascara, I cannot tell whether the formula itself is prone to clumping or if the product is just outdated (I mean, it was a GWP). Since my first day wearing it, small black flakes would frequently irritate my eyes, and I noticed that the mascara itself would clump along my eyelashes within seconds of application. I have never ever had this issue with other mascaras, but I wanted to try something new because it was free. My expectations were high, and I was prepared to switch from my typical green and pink tube of Maybelline should my life be changed by Clinique's mascara. I wanted to like it, but sadly, I am unimpressed––will not be purchasing. I appreciate all of the other Clinique products that I have used since becoming a customer....just not this one.

This mascara is the worst. Clumps and runs down your face. Want my $$ back

This mascara is amazing. It is non-climping and fragrance free: great for sensitive eyes.

Would really love to see the black honey mascara in a waterproof formula, nice color!

I was very pleased to find this mascara. I only tried it because I received a sample of it in a gift package I received when I ordered other Clinique items. Thank you for these samples…they really do work! This mascara doesn't flake and doesn't make globs on my lashes. Thank you, againl

I've used L'Oreal and Lancôme mascaras since the '90's. Have used Clinique for skin care due to clean(er) ingredient dec & decided to try the mascara. Love it! Comparable to Lancôme for gorgeous lashes.

So far, so good! I went to Ulta to look for a hypoallergenic mascara. And I also wanted the usual lengthening and volumizing, without clumping. I'm really pleased with the Clinique mascara that the sales associate helped me pick out. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, as well.

Change from Este Lauder it was always so dry and clumpy!

It's black, creamy and non clumping

I began getting very red/rashy eyes after wearing this mascara.

Easy to use & comes off easily with regular makeup remover. If I only had the lashes of my youth. LOL

The color and lift are great… but I do notice fall out/smudging after a few hours of wear. I oddly still like this but have to limit the amount of hours wearing it

This has been my mascara for years. The last two times I bought it on sale it has seemed a little dryer than usual. I'm hoping I don't have to try something new.

Only needed one coat. Lashes are longer now and opens up the eyes.

Clinique mascara is my go-to for sensitive eyes. The color is great, and it never irritates me. However, I've noticed it tends to become flaky as it gets older. That's why I prefer to buy the travel or gift sizes—it prevents waste and ensures I'm always using a fresh product.😊

The mascara isn't dried out or anything, but it clumps my lashes when I try to apply it. I think it's because too much mascara will stick to the brush, and it's hard to tell just by looking at the brush, so I'll go to apply it, and my lashes end up a mess! Sometimes this doesn't happen and it works fine, but 80% of the time it clumps my lashes and creates a disaster (which sucks, because mascara is the last step after doing the rest of my eyeshadow, so I'll have to start over again!!) I think Clinique has changed its formula or something because I've never had this issue in the past with this same exact mascara.
