submitted byGreen Works - 5 years agoBrand expertA: This doesn't answer your question directly, but I found the scented blue ones caused our cat to avoid the bathroom. I think he didn't like the gross "fresh" scent. (I didn't either but it's subtle after the first day or two.) So if you want to try a tablet, maybe start with a blue one so your cat will know something's different.

Q: Are these safe to use along with the Clorox Toilet Wand? I am hoping to drop one of these in the tank every few weeks and continue to use the toilet wand every few days. Is there am issue of the 2 chemicals mix?

Q: This has bleached the toilet flapper. Does this affect the effectiveness of the flapper in terms of sealing/leaks?

Not flushing the toilet daily can also cause bleach to accumulate and damage the flapper. Aged flappers may have a tendency to deteriorate more rapidly when exposed to bleach compounds.
