Q: How long after cleaning with this product can the same area be cleaned with a Clorox hydrogen peroxide disinfecting wipe? How long after cleaning does it break down into salt and water?

submitted by Nancy - 8 months ago
  • A: Nancy, we don’t recommend mixing Clean-Up Cleaner + Bleach with other household chemicals to avoid the creation of harmful fumes. Ensure the surface is completely dry before switching products. We suggest letting it stand on surfaces for 30 seconds up to five minutes before rinsing. We hope this info helps. Q: Why is it impossible to remove the spray portion to refill? We've had to discard 2 bottles.

submitted by Jjj - 9 months ago
  • A: How long after cleaning with this product would it be safe to clean the same area with a Clorox hydrogen peroxide wipe? How long before it breaks down into salt and water after it’s sprayed?

submitted byNancy - 8 months ago
  • A: Oh no! We're sorry to hear you're having difficulty refilling our Clean-Up Cleaner + Bleach Spray, and we'd like to help and share a few tips. First, twist the trigger on the spray bottle counterclockwise and pull upward to remove the trigger head. Refill the spray bottle. Then, to replace the trigger, align the red-tipped tube on the trigger over the tub opening inside the bottle. Press straight down on the trigger until it clicks into place. Kindly contact our team at 800-227-1860, mentioning #250109-000214, so we can continue to assist. We hope to hear from you soon. Shannon from The Clorox Team

Q: When spraying the toilet exterior do I need to rinse it with water or will a wipe with a wet cloth be fine?

submitted by punpun - 9 days ago
  • A: Thanks for checking! When using Clean-Up Multi-Surface Cleaner + Bleach on your toilet exterior, we recommend spraying 4-6 inches from the surface and allowing it to remain wet for 30 seconds. Wipe with a wet sponge or cloth and rinse with water. Hope this helps! Ashlee from The Clorox Team

Q: If I spray my shower with this, let it sit and then use the shower head to rinse it off can I spray it on a wet surface or wait for it to dry and then spray again...I have a lot of gunk on the walls

submitted by Ms1124 - 22 days ago
  • A: Great question! Since the surface is visibly soiled, preclean the shower first with our Clean-Up Multi-Surface Cleaner + Bleach and rinse with water. Once it's dry, you can disinfect by spraying it 4-6 inches away from the surface and allowing it to remain visibly wet for 5 minutes. Hope this helps! Ashlee from The Clorox Team

Q: Safe on colors? Will this product whiten colored cloths?

submitted by Ola - 9 months ago
  • A: Thanks for asking, Ola! Our Clean-Up Cleaner + Bleach is intended as a hard surface cleaner, so we don't recommend using it for laundering. While it contains sodium hypochlorite like our bleach, it also has surfactants that give it more cleaning power on hard surfaces. For laundry products that are safe on colors, we recommend our Clorox 2 for Colors line. Hope this was helpful! Ashlee from The Clorox Team

Q: Is this pet friendly enough to use on laminated floors to disinfect pet feces and urine?

submitted by Mama Bear - 9 months ago
  • A: Great question! Our Clean-Up Cleaner + Bleach is safe when used as directed in pet areas and kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. It's safe for laminated surfaces, though we recommend rinsing immediately if you use it on worn plastic laminate. Be sure to follow the label precautions and remove your pets from the room while cleaning. Always store it out of reach of pets and children. We hope this helps! Ashlee from The Clorox Team
