Q: Is it safe to use on a mattress?
A: DO NOT USE ON MATTRESS!! I ruined my daughters mattress with this cleaner. She had an accident so I looked online what works well and this was one of the first to come up. I thought I’d try it since it was only a little spot...it made the smell so bad!! It initially had a weird smell but after using it on the mattress, it was horrible!! My daughter cannot even sleep in her bed anymore because she can’t stand the smell. It does work well in the bathroom though. Just stay away from fabric!!!

Q: My washing machine has a strong urine smell. Will this get the odor out of my washer?
A: Great question! While Clorox Urine Remover works well on hard and soft surfaces like toilets, grout, mattresses, and carpets, we don't recommend using it inside your washing machine. Our Disinfecting Bleach is a great choice for deep cleaning your washing machine, and we have a handy guide on our website with tips for both front & top-load washers. Hope this helps! Q: Does it contain bleach and will fade fabric
A: We're happy to clear this up! Clorox Urine Remover is a bleach-free, hydrogen peroxide formula. It's designed to be safe for use on fibers and soft surfaces like carpet, upholstered furniture, mattresses, and bed linens. If you're unsure about a surface, please spot-test in a small, hidden area first. Hope this helps! Ashlee from The Clorox Team

Q: Does this disinfect? None of the pee removers state they do
A: Thanks for your interest in our Urine Remover Spray, Stephen. While it's designed to be safe for use on fibers and soft surfaces such as carpet, upholstered furniture, mattresses, and bed linens, we don't claim that it is an EPA-approved disinfectant. It is also specially designed to remove urine odors and stains and has a light fragrance which quickly dissipates. I hope this is useful. Shannnon from The Clorox Team
