Clue (2005 Edition) Board Game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the classic board game Clue for the first time, courtesy of Influenster. As a busy parent of two young children, my partner and I have had limited opportunities for quality time together. However, playing Clue provided a delightful exception. We thoroughly enjoyed the game's engaging mystery-solving mechanics and the chance to reconnect over some friendly competition. Despite being a newcomer to the game, I found it easy to learn and immerse myself in the detective work. Our evening playing Clue was a wonderful respite from the demands of parenting, and we look forward to many more enjoyable games together.

The new packaging is bright and colourful I love the cute metal 'weapons'. Cluedo is a fun game that makes you think. Great to play with family or friends.

Love the new character pieces which have more personality and backstory and the weopons are incredibly detailed. The addition of the clue cards give the game some added fun and more interaction between players. Played with 3 adults and a teen and while we were a bit lost (hadn't played in a long time), we all had heaps of fun.

I thoroughly enjoy the social aspect of this game, which makes it a fantastic choice for game nights with friends or simply for spending quality time with kids as a family. It's the perfect family game for us because both the kids and my parents enjoyed it so much. It's truly an ageless game, and I really love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to have a games night with Cluedo, with 4 adults and 2 kids- and it was so much fun! Only 1 of us had previously payed this game before, so we had to ensure we read the instructions and it did take a little while to understand what we were meant to do and how to play, but it was a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. The 10 year old enjoyed playing and understood the rules well. I think one thing that can be added to the game, is some little pencils, and also 2 figurines for each character, so you can use one for the actual game, and one can be placed in front of the player so you don’t forget which character you are. Would make it much easier to have a colour reference in front of each player. For the first time playing, it was great, was a lot of rules to remember, but we helped each other and eventually understood what we were meant to do, with a few mistakes in between! A great game for a gaming night and the kids enjoyed it as much as the adults. We will be playing this again on a weekend in a few weeks time. Highly recommended for people of all ages to play Cluedo!

My 12 and 19 year old had loads of fun playing this game. So happy to have this in our game collection. Will get lots of use over the years and great for when we have family over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game has given me so many good memories. It takes me back to childhood and playing it at home and at school with friends . The game is still easy to learn and can be addicting. The only downfall to this game is that it lasts a long time. We have developed a plan to deal with that! We leave the board set up for days on end and play a little each day until the game is finished. We also photograph the board at the end of each day to make sure that no “cheaters” move pieces or cash.

Good quality board, and game pieces! Will definitely last! This is definitely a new "go to game" on our house. Didn't get a pic - we were having way to much fun.

It has new questions cards that you can ask for a better game play. Over all was a good time, the classic who done it game will always be up there in the favourites.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got my hands on the revamped Cluedo game. if you’ve ever played cluedo before you’ll basically know how the game works it very nostalgic for me. I game looks really good and the quality of this new board is very good. Besides a few minor game changes there isn’t much of a difference between this and the classic cluedo game that i’m sure many of us know, besides some aesthetic changes. The main reason I have given this 3 stars more like 3.5 is because I feel like they have just added steps to the gameplay for the sake of it. After you have taken the 3 cards from each pile and slipped them into your envelope you are to place random clue cards on the board and continue playing. I don’t know if this is necessary or maybe it’s just because I’m used to the original gameplay that I don’t think little extra steps like this are needed as they don’t really benefit gameplay. Either way the quality is great and if you’re looking for a revamped look to an old classic board game this might be a good option.

From my 13 year old right through to the eldest family member, it was easy to follow and suitable for a wide range of ages. Great playing pieces and plenty of playing material. Great to see double sided writing pad as it lasts longer! Fun, classic game that makes you think! Definitely a must add to Family game nights!

Great for the kids to use their powers of deduction to choose the murderer, the weapon and the room. Loads of fun, a classic for sure!

I was quite eager to sit down and start playing after taking the time to read over the instructions. Even my 10-year-old son joined in and was having a blast playing a detective and trying to solve the crime, proving that it is the ideal game for the entire family to enjoy. We had no trouble setting up, comprehending, and playing the game. We played it a few times and It's just as much fun to play over and over because of all the numerous scenarios. It truly puts your head in a thinking mindset. All in all, a great game with loads of laughs for the whole family. I would strongly suggest.
