New but very trusted products
Just got them,walked about a 1/4 mile away and tried them ,so far so good, 3 weeks and out for a camping trip ,big test then,I do have the marine version of this ,and for last 3 years been a very good radio to have on the boat ,and I carry when I even walk the beach shore line.

Battery Charger Problems
We had problems getting the battery charger to work properly. I believe that the batteries are now charged and functioning. We have not as yet tried the radio. We are primarily interested in its long range capability.

I bought the cobra walkie
I bought the cobra walkie talkies to try out at our Knight of Columbus golf tournament . They worked great. We had people scattered all over the course . There are a lot of trees through out the course. High and low elevations . 2 way transmission not a problem . Golfers tried there cell phones a lot of dead spot, or low signal.

Great for family hikes
We have a large extended family ranging in age from 7 to 80 years old. Despite the age difference, we all love to hike. Given the differences in capabilities, we often have one group that goes off trailblazing while others like to meander slowly. These walkie talkies are great for our purposes. The group can separate but still stay in constant communication so there's no danger of getting lost. Great range, battery life and flashlight. Highly recommend!
