I would not buy this item again unfortunately.
I put it out in between my plants to keep rabbits away but it did not work appropriately and never made a sound.

The owl that doesn't!
Although the appearance of the owl is very life-like, it does not function as advertised. It hoots continuously even with the power turned off.

Liked the look, not the result.
I had hoped these owls would help as a deterrent with my duck problem; but they only worked for 2 days. There may be a short in the inside mechanism.

I would not purchase this item again.
This item is just an adornment in my garden… nothing more. It hooted and the eyes lit up when it was on my kitchen table. Once placed in my garden, it no longer hooted and no longer did the eyes light up! It's cute but does NOT perform as advertised. Waste of money!

Love the one that works
I purchased two Hooting Owls and only one is still working but one has stopped and I can't get it to work. I love the one that works it's just what I wanted.

I would not buy again or recommend if you want it to "hoot"!
The 1st one I ordered didn't hoot & was missing the pointed in-ground stake so I called and was told they would send another. It had the same part missing & it hooted on my kitchen table but not once in the garden. My neighbor discovered the missing stake nestled INSIDE the larger post. The problem was with the instructions (made in CHINA, of course!)

Does not work as described
The owl does not hoot and the eyes do not light up. I use them as decoration in the garden because it is a pain to go through the return process. However, it is highly unlikely that I will buy from this company again.

Will not work
The owls were supposed to respond to movement by flashing their eyes and making a sound. After charging them in the sun for days, they did not respond. If you want an owl statue, buy this product. Since I bought two owls, I'm guessing none of them work. Both of mine are dead!

Don't waste your Money!
I have tried this thing twice and both were pure failures! One kind of worked for maybe a week then totally went out so the replacement was sent and it never worked at all! How they get away with selling crap like this is beyond me! Collections, you can do better!

I had to reorder because of defect and the second one was no good either. Don't think I will order anything from collections again. I am 80yrs old n disappointed.
