Collections Etc Realistic Hen and Rooster Iron Garden Stakes - Set of 2

Very pleased with the artwork and ease of assembly.

This is the 2nd set I ordered because the coloring wears off very quickly out in the elements. So this year I have sprayed them with 3 coats of the Rustolium clear spray paint and I'll see how they hold up with this. The original set I had I lightly sanded them and spray painted them black just to have a kind of sillouetes and I may add some color for their feet and heads. :) Tina

My wife absolutely loved them.

I just received a second set that I ordered because the 1st set - the image washed away. this time, I sprayed both of them with a clear rustolium spray paint to see if it keeps the beautiful colors from washing out. We'll see, otherwise they are very nice but I just want them to hold up for a little longer time. Maybe 3 summer seasons. Tina

I like the product. Purchased because of free shipping BUT then added "handling". Probably will re-evaluate before making another "free shipping" purchase

I was very disappointed in the product . In the book it looked different .I thought they would look like real chickens especially with them costing so much. I would not order them again

After reading some of the reviews that the colors faded and it was not sturdy I took a chance and ordered anyway. I decided I would do something to make sure these things didn't occur. I put super glue around the connectors then I sprayed several light coats of Spar Urethane on painted side of the Hen and Rooster. This will protect from sunlight, rain & moisture and temperature changes.. I have tucked into some shrubs in my front yard. The colors are bright and provide some comic relief. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 as I haven't had for very long.

This was a gift to my adult son that has a garden. He lives in Mo. I loved the color on the chickens. I ordered for an x-tra fun type of birthday gift. His wife took the chickens & put in the garden. They love them. I am glad I bought them for his surprise x-tra gift.

Have an area in our country yard where faux animals and birds are set for fun. This set did not really fit in with its one sided view.

I wanted it to add to my collection of yard ornaments. I was very disappointed when the colors faded. I love lawn ornaments but will not buy anymore that are painted metal.

I assumed the picture was on both sides. It isn't. They were easy to assemble but that's about the only positive thing I can say. I would send them back but it's more trouble than it's worth.
