There was not an opening for the pole to attach to the bottom. The flower top had no way to attach and the bottom was flat so there was no way to attach. Screw in places were nonexistant., top and bottom of pole. The two wooden pieces for the pole did fit together. I am going to try to glue it. It was given to me as a gift and I do not want them to have to send it back. The flower top is too big to fit through a paper towel opening. And it is so cute.

We had an aluminum towel holder that had to be screwed together. This one, just remove top, put the towels on it, put top back on.
