I was looking for lanterns for my existing shepherd's hooks. Most came with hooks, which I didn't need. They are bright. I'm thinking about getting more. I don't like that the on/off switch isn't on the bottom. You have to remove the top to turn them to on. I was afraid something would break even though I looked at the instructions to find out how to do it. They are also smaller than I expected. I need to learn to read the dimensions before buying. This isn't the first time I've ordered something thinking it would be bigger

The do not stay lite at night very long. Smaller than I thought they would be.

I purchased these solar lanterns to go on my shepherd's hook after moving planters off of it. They are small, but very decorative. They suited the purpose for what I wanted (accent) in a corner. I would recommend these lanterns if you are not looking for anything elaborate.

Love these small lanterns. They work perfectly on my backyard arbor.

There was suppose to be a on/off switch ,there was not. I returned them. Did not work at night
