These are Shatterproof Bulbs and it uses LEDs to product the light and plastic globes rather than glass. Our hope is that there is no need to replace the lights. This thing is a scam for the price. Tiny LEDs that don't offer nearly enough light to be useful. Horrible cheap plastic build quality that is not suitable for sustained doutdoor use.

These are perfect for a little mood lighting on my balcony. Many string lights are too bright if you just want a mood. These don’t are low lumens that don’t distract from the city view and won’t break in the wind. Yes, the shade is plastic, but for this price I wouldn’t expect anything else.
