The only thing I had an issue with , was the plunger. You have to very carefully push it , otherwise too much gel comes out at one time and it's very thick , so a little goes a long way. It did the job well, too- killed the line of ants I had coming in on kitchen window sill. The only negatives are that it dries pretty quickly when exposed to the sun and that you need to clean it up pretty quickly or you have to do some scrubbing.
