Q: Is the silicone bottom part safe to go into bottle warmer?

submitted by March1 - 7 years ago
  • A: YES. My baby and I loved these bottles.

submitted byDana - 7 years ago
  • A: One thing you need to know is that because these bottles are silicone they are heat resistant and take longer to heat than regular bottles. That being said these are still the best bottles out there.

submitted byBecky - 7 years ago

Q: Can the silicone bottle and the nipples be placed in a sterilizer?

submitted by newbiemom - 7 years ago
  • A: Yes. And the bottles come with washing instructions.

submitted byDana - 7 years ago
  • A: Yes it's heat resistant! Its's safe to go in boiling water, steam sterilizer, dishwasher (top rack only) & microwave!

    submitted bycsaito88 - 6 years ago

Q: Does the Comotomo have measuring lines on the bottles to know the specific amount?

submitted by Tim - 8 years ago
  • A: Yes they do have measuring lines. They are very faint but you can still see them. The smaller bottles hold up to 5 oz and the larger bottles hold up to 8 oz. My baby and I really do love these bottles.

submitted byLisa - 8 years ago
  • A: Yes it does they are just hard to see in the picture.

submitted byBrooke - 8 years ago

Q: How do you distinguish the fast and slow nipples? They look the same, is it written somewhere on the nippple or the cover?

submitted by Mama bear - 5 years ago
  • A: There’s no marking. For the slow flow there’s only one hole in the nipple and for medium there are two. Fast there are three.

submitted byBR - 4 years ago

Q: What is the nipple flow that comes with the 5 oz bottles? Slow flow (like a 1 on most nipples) or extra slow flow (like a 0 on most standard nipples)? In need for newborns.

submitted by ckd - 5 years ago
  • A: The 5oz bottles come with the slow flow nipples which are for 0-3 months. The 8oz bottles come with the medium flow nipples which are for 3 months and up. There are fast flow nipples that you can purchase separately.

submitted byMegan - 5 years ago

Q: do these bottles come with the cap that covers the nipple

submitted by novembergrandma - 5 years ago
  • A: Yes they come with the caps

submitted byBrennanmomma - 5 years ago

Q: Is there a venting system with these bottles?

submitted by KHnewmommy - 5 years ago
  • A: Yes, The bottle has two holes on the side of the nipple for venting.

submitted byMegan - 5 years ago

Q: 1 ) do these bottles fit in the advent warmer? 2) have been using medela bottles... lots of formula out sides of her mouth ... idk if that’s normal ..? Opinions please ...1st time mom!!

submitted by Sherbear - 5 years ago
  • A: According to the Comotomo website, Advent Express bottle warmer is compatible, among many others warmers.

submitted byKelly - 5 years ago

Q: are these slow flow nipples?

submitted by paige - 5 years ago
  • A: The 5oz bottles come with the slow flow nipples which are for 0-3 months. The 8oz bottles come with the medium flow nipples which are for 3 months and up. There are fast flow nipples that you can purchase separately

submitted byMegan - 5 years ago

Q: I don't understand why this doesn't clearly state whether these are 0-3 months or 3+ months. I know they say it on the box since I've already purchased a set that are the wrong age...Anyone know?

submitted by sadies - 7 years ago
  • A: I’ve been using these bottles for 5 years for all 3 of my kids. The 5oz bottles come with the slow flow nipples which are for 0-3 months. The 8oz bottles come with the medium flow nipples which are for 3 months and up. There are fast flow nipples that you can purchase separately

    they leak milk :/

I liked the asthetic of these but they do leak. I also feel like it’s hard to clean, they don’t work great in my bottle warmer, and it’s hard for me to read the oz’s on the side. Overall I got these and the philips avent and I always reach for those instead. i honestly wish i could return them.

So thankful we found these bottle! My EBF baby hated the Dr. B early on (4 weeks) and continued to struggle for weeks as we did a bottle every few days to familiarize him with it. I finally caved and bought something new and he immediately took to it! I love that the nipple doesn’t flow unless he’s sucking. If your baby is struggling, try these!!

    Worst Bottle so far

I've tried five different types of bottles so far with our baby and this is my least favorite. Caused the most gas troubles, harder to heat up the silicone, the top is very difficult to get off. The angle of the nipple also makes it very difficult to feed baby in any upright angle, adding to any gas issues

My baby loves these bottles and won't really use anything else we've tried so far. But the silicone bottle body is poorly designed and it makes these really annoying to store and fill. When empty they're so top heavy with such a small base they fall over. The cup part is too soft and makes it hard to properly tighten them without spilling milk. If there was an option to use the nipples with a better designed cup these would be great. Instead they're something I'm stuck with because of a picky baby that I'd replace in a heartbeat.

I don’t understand why so many other people love these bottles. They tip over easily, which is about the worst flaw a bottle can have. The top is so wide and flat that it squishes my baby’s nose, and you have to completely invert the bottle and lay the baby flat to get all the milk out. The only positive thing I can say about these bottles is that they’re easy to clean. I wouldn’t recommend them.

These bottles are so easy to clean and so durable. We used these with our third baby and now again with our 4th. There are so few parts to clean and I love that all the parts that touch the milk are silicone and not plastic.

I love these bottles! They are easy to wash and assemble. My baby never had any trouble drinking with these. The only thing I dislike is how wide they are because they don’t fit in a lot of pockets designed to hold bottles. Love everything else about them.

Terrible all around. Tips over even if I look at it the wrong way. Thread for screwing in doesn’t latch easily. Combine those two and you get a lot of spillages. Nipple itself falls in on itself. Air pockets are hard to reopen. Do not buy.

My EBF Baby Girl LOVES THIS, IT'S A GODSEND!

    5 out of 5 stars

    EMILY - 1 year ago
I’m SO impressed by this bottle & brand and I never leave reviews! I’ll start by giving a little backstory: my baby took bottles & all kinds of paci’s no problem when she was a newborn.. I ended up deciding to ONLY breastfeed (no pumping or bottle feeding) when she was around 2 months old (was mentally drained with electric pumping all the time). My baby girl is now 4.5 months old & I decided it’s time to start pumping/bottle feeding again (wanted her to start getting used to others and for date nights) but she would NOT TAKE ANY BOTTLES AT ALL. At first, I thought it was because of the frozen breast milk I had, but I tried freshly pump milk and it was still a no. These were the exact same bottles she took when she was younger (Dr. Browns & Medela). I even tried Nanobebe (seems very similar to Comotomo) but it seemed like the nipple was too “hard/stiff” for her to suckle & she was not a fan. I was getting worried and so stressed about this whole situation… then I came across Comotomo after reading many reviews about EBF loving these & decided to give it a go… anddddddd WHAT A GODSEND!!! She almost immediately took it (there was a couple seconds of struggle, probably her thinking “oh no she’s giving me the bottle again”)! I LOVE the feeling of this bottle, the ease of cleaning it, the soft silicone base (which you can squeeze) and even my baby loves holding the bottle! I’m going to order the pink 8oz versions, which has the medium flow nipples! HIGHLY RECOMMEND & definitely would encourage to try this brand out if you’re struggling with bottle feeding your little babes.

I love it! Was struggling to switch from breastfeeding to using the bottle preparing to get back to work after maternity leave. My baby is 2 and a half months old and we tried Dr. Brown and Avent. She didn’t like both and was chewing on them. Now it got much better with this bottle! It doesn’t leak, has shorter nipple and easy to clean! Definitely recommend!!!

It was great at first but after time, the vents had issues so the nipples would invert! Very annoying when it happens while baby is drinking. Also over time the formula started leaking from some of the bottles. I like that it’s soft and wide, makes it very easy to clean! But nipples invert and leaking with some bottles.

Bottle tips over & my baby has a hard time sucking on the nipple because of the way it is designed. She takes in too much air & also the nipple covers her nose so every other second you have to move the bottle so she can breathe.
