Compound Kings DIY Butter Slime Rainbow Cake Surprise

The item was delivered on time and my 5 year old daughter was super excited about "rainbow cake slime". She had given it a nickname. Once arrived and opened the 5 scented dough rolls were dried out and hard as a rock. So we opened it anyway thinking maybe we could mold it into a circle as much as we could. No, nothing would help!!! The dough was stuck in the shape of the roll. Next, the dough that appeared to be the icing for the cake HARD AS A ROCK and dried out inside its packaging. At that point my daughter was devastated but still wanted to play with something so she created the slime which was initially in powder form and you had to add water. Simple. The main purpose of this product was to make a cake and we couldn't enjoy this item due to manufacturing issues or expired products. Target why sell defective products to loyal customers that can only be sold online?

The ingredients do not work like the pictures or the video showed. The white "icing" is as hard as foam and the only way to use it was to cut it into strips and try folding it. The slime is fun, but does not come out looking or working anything like the picture or video. All in all, although the kids liked playing with the slime, the rest of the kit was unimpressive. Not worth the price we paid which was over $12.00.

Package arrived damaged, kid still wanted it. After opening, half of items were dried out and unusable. Would not recommend a buy.

Do not buy products came all dried out and unable to make the slime

Not only was product packaging damaged and opened through transit (replaced first through Target which was great but 2nd was damaged too) - the slime (specifically the icing portion) was dried out and we had to throw away. Do not purchase. Waste of money! Lastly, the odor of what was useable is horrible.

White icing was dry and could not use.

Frosting was all dried up so my daughter could not frost the cake. Very disappointed and wasted money.

For those having problems with the frosting, remove it from the plastic and treat it just like any ole playdoh. Forget that piping bag. Just roll it into a ball and fatten it out to create a super thing pancake for the layers.

My family and I love to watch cake tutorial videos on YouTube and thought this would be fun for the kids. It was sooo cute and my children loved it. Is the white “frosting” too hard to squeeze-yes but it was 1 part of a multi step activity where everything else was spot on. We just had fun with it and squeezed what we could and pulled it apart. Everything else worked perfectly and I will probably repurchase as a repeat activity!

my 9year old bought this with her birthday money. the cloud slime is pretty good but the icing was totally dry. the slime sticks terribly to the molds and they can't get it out again. no containers to keep the cloud slime in for more then one use. so potentially only good for one play.

Dont even bother putting it together like a cake. My kid couldn't do the "icing" so i had to do the whole thing for her because everything was so tough and hard. Playing with each slime individually is fine but making it as a cake was a terrible idea whoever made this.

This kit is nothing like the photo. It’s small, the icing does not come out of the piping bag at all. My 5 year old was disappointed.

Another great slime kit for any occasion!! Kids love these slime packs! Much less messier than if you was to do a DIY. Would definitely recommend!!

The"frosting" doesn't work and the cake pan cracked after the first cake.

I Bought 2 For My Girl And Her Friend And None Of Them Worked. It S A Huge Waste Of Money. They Were So Sad.

This is a terrible - disappointing product . The “ frosting” does not come out as pictured. It’s basically foamy slime . Very messy even with adult help.
