Q: My son has a wart on his hand & swims 4x a wk. Can we put on after practice and take off 23 hours later becase they are strict about bandages in the pool? Would we apply another after or wait 48 hour?

submitted by Peggy L - 13 days ago
  • A: Great question! One the Compound W Invisible Strips are placed on the wart, we direct to leave them on for 48 hours then change to a new pad. We do not recommend removing the pad during this time for any reason. If you have any further questions, please contact us toll-free at 1-800-443-4908.

Q: i see in the photos people have posted of the wart being out of the finger leaving a hole where the wart was along with the skin being very white around too. will the hole the wart came out of close?

submitted by shampton99 - 2 years ago
  • A: Thank you for contacting Compound W. Once the wart is removed, the body may have to heal the area, as the wart invades under the skin because it is a virus. If you have any concerns with aftercare once the wart is removed, please feel free to check with your doctor. If you have any further questions please contact us toll-free at 1-800-443-4908.

Q: what happens if you put another one on before the 48 hours are up?

submitted by Bryced - 3 years ago
  • A: Great question! If you change pads before 48 hours this will reduce the effectiveness of each pad, resulting in more product being needed to treat the wart than intended or needed. If you have any further questions, please contact us toll-free at 1-800-443-4908.
