Q: I bought this hair dyer last fall and now it does not work. It will not allow me to retrack and makes a funny noice when I shake it. I expected it to last longer and am disappointed.
A: I’ve bought this dryer 3 times. Each time the cord unfortunately stops retracting before the dryer stops working. The dryer itself is a good dryer. I wish the cord itself would last longer.

Q: I bought the magenta "Conair 1875 Watt Cord Keeper Hair Dryer" years ago and want to get it again. It came with the same attachments and retractable cord, but the physical dryer itself looks different. What else differs?
A: My wife had the same question. From what we can tell, it is the improvement of the ionic technology.
submitted byLA Todd - 5 years agoA: No, it had the ion technology before. They've removed the Tourmaline Ceramic and it is now very damaging. I wouldn't buy again.

Q: Where is the voltage converter switch? I don’t see any markings on this blow dryer for dual voltage.
A: standard dryers are designed to operate at 110 to 125 volts AC. this appliance has a polarized plug ( one blade is wider than the other ). as a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one wat. if the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
