Q: Does this have a plastic "qrinkle" sound to it when moving around on the bed?

A: Hi - because this is not waterproof there is no crinkle sound. Upon arrival it may feel a bit stiff because it is 100% cotton with no chemicals however after the 1st wash it softens right up.

Luxurious and soft
I purchased the cover to go with inflatable air mattress for guests last weekend. The mattress cover fit perfectly on my Serta queen air mattress. When I received I washed and folded back into the bag provided, easy to repack and will be used to store until guests arrive again. Great purchase.
